Ecominds Funding Scheme is an open grant programme run by Mind as an award partner of the Big Lottery Fund. Ecominds aims to help people with direct experience of mental distress become involved in environmental projects that improve mental and physical health and local communities.

More information about the purpose of Ecominds and a full list of projects can be found HERE. There is also a list of essential criteria that projects have to meet in order to qualify for a grant, listed HERE.

The programme is currently undersubscribed in the small grants category – i.e. projects totalling less than £20,000. They state that they “would currently like to encourage small applications as we are becoming oversubscribed in the other categories for this year.”
